Come and meet me . . .

I’m going to be in Hartlepool Library 15th June 6pm to talk about DRY SEASON and DARK HORIZONS. I’ll read from the books and talk about the inspiration behind them.

I also have a couple of signings lined up for 18th June: Waterstone’s in Newcastle city centre 11-2pm, and Waterstone’s Morpeth from 2:30-5:00pm.

Why not come along and say hello?

  1. Hi Dan, went to my local library yesterday morning and saw Dark Horizons in the ‘Just In’ section. As it was by a new British Author I thought i’d give it a go. Just finished it and it’s the best read I’ve had in quite a while. I reckon it would make for a good TV drama in three or four 1-hour episodes; plenty of cliff-hangers! Have now reserved a co[y of Dry Season. The inevitable question is have you anything else in the pipeline?
    All the best

  2. Hi Jem, and thanks for the message. It’s fantastic to hear you enjoyed Dark Horizons so much – it’s always a great feeling when I hear that someone’s liked my book! And I like the sound of a TV drama; or maybe a film? Fingers crossed for that, eh? In terms of what’s next . . . well, these things tend to go in yearly cycles, so my next book won’t be out until next year. It’s called The Child Thief and is set in 1930’s Ukraine – about a former soldier hunting a child murderer across the snowy wastes. It’s going to be good!
