Happy New Year to you all. Let’s hope it’s a good’un for everyone.
Well, with snowmageddon in full swing out there, life is trying to get back to some kind of normality. Children are back at school – well, mine are, anyway – and things are quiet again. Oh, and it’s only just over a month until DRY SEASON is published. Reading about the sun and the sand and the river and the jungle will be the perfect antidote to all this cold weather. And we have a quote. For the book, that is …
Dangerous and compelling – a powerful thriller with raw emotion and a dark heart. Dry Season does for Brazil what The Beach did for Thailand. Raymond Khoury, bestselling author of ‘The Last Templar’ and ‘The Sign’.
Raymond Khoury very kindly took some time out to read Dry Season and has given us the above quote which you should see, in whole or in part, on the cover for Dry Season. Having such a strong quote from an international bestselling author is great, and will hopefully catch a few eyes in the bookstore.
So there’s not really much I can do now except hang on until I can see the printed version. Can’t wait.
In the meantime, I’ve got revisions to do on book two (currently titled ‘Toba’), I’ve just finished a draft for another novel, and I’m about to start on something new. Should be a good year.
